Cemex S.A.B. de C.V., CRH Plc, Holcim Group and Titan Cement International SA anchor the Materials category of the BuiltWorlds 6th Annual Global Innovators Top 50 ranking. The program recognizes excellence in the adoption, implementation and ultimate advancement of innovation throughout the built environment.
Nominated or selected internally through the BuiltWorlds community, honorees share baseline criteria: international presence in at least 10 countries, annual revenue of over $500 million, and employee count of more than 1,000.
Along with the cement, aggregate and concrete multinationals, the Global Innovators Materials category includes Chryso Inc. parent company Saint-Gobain and insulation leader Knauf. Beyond Materials, the BuiltWorlds Top 50 spans Design & Engineering, Commercial Construction, Infrastructure & Energy, Equipment & Machinery, Commercial Real Estate and World Technology categories. Combined, ranked companies employ 2.4 million-plus and report more than $1.1 trillion in annual revenue.
“This year’s honorees are an exceptional group, representing the very best of our industry’s efforts to improve the way we build and operate structures and infrastructure,” said BuiltWorlds Director of Research Audrey Lynch.
She and colleagues will honor this year’s Innovators during the BuiltWorlds 2026 Paris Global Summit, where speakers will include Cemex Ventures Head Jesus Ortiz DeLa Fuente and Investment & Partnerships Manager Miguel Carralon Zornoza. Registration and additional information on the June 9-11 event can be obtained here.
